Laxey morning
I grew up in Belfast, and quite often people ask me if I miss 'home'. The Isle of Man is certainly very different..... yes, sometimes it would be nice to go into the city, to all the shops and clubs. Sometimes it would be nice to buy something in a clothes shop and know you're not going to walk into 10 people wearing the same thing. Sometimes it would be nice to be where nobody knows you and if you do something stupid, nobody cares.
But then you get up and drive to work, looking at THIS..... and I'm reminded I wouldn't be able to call anywhere else in the world home now, this is on my doorstep and I am so lucky for that.
I'm sure a lot of you were delighted to get back to the comforts of the big cities...... but I hope part of you will always look at the Island with fond memories. And not just look back at the percentage of your liver you will never enjoy again.

Speaking of Chrissymus
Look at the liddle puppy's liddle face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is Harvey on Christmas day, THRILLED to bits with his new toy. The toy is still with us, although it doesn't look quite the same as pictured above......... however, it looks a damn sight LESS disturbing than poor Scooby (Harvey's Christmas present from Doug)
Harvey starts therapy on Monday. WTF

THE BIG NOTHING
Hello everyone, and how are we today........ here are some pictures from the film I was working on, the Big Nothing.
I was lucky enough to work with an amazing crew, which came at just the right time when the rest of you UP AND LEFT ME ON THIS COLD LONELY ROCK!!!!!! (ehh heemmm)

From left to right we have Diane (Production), Carol (Make-up Designer, Marie (Make-up artist) and myself (in need of a make-over)
This is Will, one of the cheeky chappies from the Sparks department. We are standing on the edge of a cliff at about 2am on Marine drive (Joe posted pictures of there not long ago).
It was cold. It was very cold................ hence the Eskimo impression.
An
d this is Rob, a local guy - we went for the same post (floor runner) but the 1st AD assessed my 'ass' and (I'm guessing) came to the conclusion that running probably wasn't my thing.......
more the kind of girl who is more comfortable 'sitting' on aforementioned ass and telling people what to do and say *I know, let's put her with the script supervisor!!*

Here's one of the pictures from our many days shooting outside, taking advantage of the beautiful Manx countryside. We got some amazing shots of the cliffs, down to the sea. That'a Jeb in the foregound, our director and Sally Jones, Script Supervisor by the car.
A picture from our wrap party. I would love to share what was being yelled in my ear, but I'd probably get fired.
