Memories!!!!!!!!!!

I love these drawings................................

Our new crews are arriving very soon................ as soon as I can I will post pictures of everyone in the sunny Isle of Man (hopefully when people arrive this time there won't be a force ten gale blowing through the airport!)

Of all the duck..................

I was driving to work this morning and this duck LITERALLY fell out of the sky.

Seriously, I was toodling along quite happy (and no, I hadn't been drinking for all you smartie pants out there), and this poor little duck came crashing down from what looked like the roof of the local garage!!!!!!!

Bless it, I don't think it was all that young, but it was very small and couldn't walk that fast.............. he looked so cold and tired, and it's been freezing over here.

So after a quick grapple on the road, me and Bert (he looked like a Bert) headed up to Auntie Jayne the Vet in the North of the Island, where she's taken him in and he will spend the rest of his days in the sunshine amongst about 50 other ducks with various wonky legs and dodgy wings.

A Happy Tale for the start of the week!!!

(Am tempted to build a little pond and keep him myself, but I don't think the cats would be too amused)

More pretty pickies......

Most of the beaches on the Island are really very safe - we don't get many massive waves, apart from around the North of the Island at the Point of Ayre, where it can be quite trecherous for sailors.

Harvey is going on the Isle of Man Tourist Board payroll soon..................

'HarveyL**banger, the face of the Manx coastline'

A puppy's career must be given a lot of consideration. Taking time like this to ponder the meaning of cats it quite essential......... calms the soul.

Big giant me. A few more Italian cooked dinners, and the vision may become reality. Thank god! for the 'Lateral Thigh Trainer' I spent £90.00 on, off of the 'infomercial' channel. Heck, if it wasn't for that thing I would have no-where to hang my underwear straight from the washing machine.

The colours here are so vivid. It's hard to believe Spring is right around the corner....... the coastline has an almost burnt orange look about it, something you would normally expect to see in Autumn.

But yes, Spring is indeed on the way. Time for the birds to go nuts, and the guys to bring out the national 'good weather' uniform on the Isle of Man..... blue denims and bright coloured checkered shirts. Put that ensemble together with a beer belly and you have the visual epitamy of why so many women in the UK hook up with people they meet from abroad on internet dating sites.

BOOOOoooooooooOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a cold....................

Not Happy.
Thought I'd share.

A lovely sunny day on the Isle of Man

Here are some pictures I took this morning, walking around Laxey in the sunshine and on my way to work.

This is the Laxey river which leads down to the harbour about ten minutes walk from this bridge. The port was originally built for the exporting of ores for smelting in north Wales.

The Laxey river is a little known venue for Salmon but at the right time of year holds huge stocks - there are many waterfalls and weirs along this river which hold fish, although Harvey didn't catch any today.

For those of you who have never been to the studio, we actually work beside an old church with a beautiful grave yard.............. some of the stones there are ancient. At first I thought it would be strange, seeing it every day; but in reality it's a beautiful place, a lot of people sit out during the summer at lunchtimes. Very peaceful.

More about this later......

I just want to point out that I don't actually visit Bar George on my way to work, but a few of us used to go there at lunchtime - no doubt when the new productions start it will become a favourite haunt.

I love it when the moon is so visable during the day, it always looks so clear.......

And here's another picture of the puppy. Just because he's so cute. Not so cute when he managed to get up the stairs this morning and poop in the bathroom. Cute, none-the-less.
