I heard y'all like vacation photos

I went to Iceland. Those are some high-class Vikings, I'll tell ya.

Here's a shot of Reykjavik. That littlest bit on the left side of the horizon, the greyer bit: that's their Snaefelsnes (yes, like Man's highpoint) mountain and glacier. It's huge and a long way off.

This is Gullfloss. Nothing to do with seagulls, it means "gold falls". You can see some little, little people on the left. Odd thing was, there was no apparent uphill from here-- when I got up to the fall's top the surface level was flush with the horizon. Hmf.

Volcanic crater. The land stayed Mars-like most of the time, but no off-scale iguana ever climbed over the background. I was lucky enough to have a geologist driving me around. Again, look for some tiny people-specks on the left.

This is a rift where the north American Plate is torn away from the European, which is just across the valley. This is also where the Vikings would meet to vote; Their Thingvaller, like the Manx Tynwald. You'll have to sort it among yourselves which is older- "continual" seems to be an esoteric point to them.

I'm on rough sea on my way to a whole island of puffins. My pictures of the puffins were rubbish. I think "Finlandia" is on the headphones.

It's past ten at night.

This is where Magnussun first landed and founded Reykjavik.
