ET TU, VILL? ET TU?
Hey only kidding... who loves ya baby. I do that's who, you big cuddly love pillow. Maybe you're right in your liberating view of the blog... so here's some pics from our trip to Scotland. I dug up some nice sappy ones.
Me about to spend my first Scottish pound, on a pint no doubt.
Some fancy terra cotta fountain given as a gift from France hundreds of years ago?? I dunno?
Glasgow University. 500 years young. Hundreds of the worlds greatest scientists have graduated from here. The list is mind boggling... go on and google it.
One of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen in all my travels.
This is my kind of 'wailing wall'. This was just one of their Scotch shrines. Aw jeez, here comes the tears again.

Upon our arrival in Edinburgh (only the coolest city in Europe) We were greeted with a most unusual site, a perfect example of the charm of this beautifully progressive city. An asian bagpiper...right on. The Gaudi-esque tower behind him is fittingly called Scott Tower.

So we pose at the bridge. The bridge spans the railway tracks and connect newer Ediburgh(behind us) to the old town Edinburgh (behind the camera).

There were hundreds of these "closes" throughout town. It was down one of these very closes that we learned of the history of what it truly meant to be "shit-faced". Folks on the upper floors, opting not to climb down the dark stairwells at night, would just empty their chamber pots out the window. Unfortunately the timing of this was generally about the time that the pubs closed. And as drunks are, they usual failed to heed the call from above to "cover your head" and being inebriated generally looked up-ward to say wha...

I kicked this towns ass.

Think this man ain't proud to be Scottish? That's a tartan kilt hard-hat he's wearing.

The name of this castle escapes me, but it is the one in Monty Pytons Holy Grail, when they tried to storm the French castle.

This looked like a set from a W.B. Griffith production. It is the centerpiece of Old Edinburgh. Home to Mary Queen of Scots.

This spectacular glen was up in the Highlands and had lots of clan history. Legend has it that they were called the 3 sisters and were cursed by a witch, and would remain mountains together until one of them took a lover. It would be so much less complicated to just stay together ladies, trust me.

This is the one and only Loch Ness, world famous for it's Ruby-Throated Warbler.
