A lovely sunny day on the Isle of Man

Here are some pictures I took this morning, walking around Laxey in the sunshine and on my way to work.

This is the Laxey river which leads down to the harbour about ten minutes walk from this bridge. The port was originally built for the exporting of ores for smelting in north Wales.

The Laxey river is a little known venue for Salmon but at the right time of year holds huge stocks - there are many waterfalls and weirs along this river which hold fish, although Harvey didn't catch any today.

For those of you who have never been to the studio, we actually work beside an old church with a beautiful grave yard.............. some of the stones there are ancient. At first I thought it would be strange, seeing it every day; but in reality it's a beautiful place, a lot of people sit out during the summer at lunchtimes. Very peaceful.

More about this later......

I just want to point out that I don't actually visit Bar George on my way to work, but a few of us used to go there at lunchtime - no doubt when the new productions start it will become a favourite haunt.

I love it when the moon is so visable during the day, it always looks so clear.......

And here's another picture of the puppy. Just because he's so cute. Not so cute when he managed to get up the stairs this morning and poop in the bathroom. Cute, none-the-less.

Hey Emma,

Nice pictures!

At least Harvey didn't mistake the closet for the bathroom.

That's a smart puppy.
